International debit cards from Barclays Wealth

Choose an international debit card when you open a Barclays Wealth International bank account

With a Barclays Wealth International bank account, you get the choice of two international debit cards: Barclays Connect debit card and Barclays Deferred debit card.

Barclays Connect debit card

You can use your Barclays Connect debit card around the world and never lose track of your account balance. It takes payments directly from your international bank account as soon as you make a purchase or withdraw cash. The fact that you always know where you stand financially makes international personal banking easier to manage. This card is only available in sterling.

Barclays Deferred debit card

Barclays Deferred Debit Card is available in euros and US dollars. Again, you'll get easy access to your money, and you can pay for goods and services in most countries around the world. All your transactions are charged to your account as a single debit every month. You can nominate up to nine additional cardholders, or eight if you have a joint account.

International online banking

Our international online banking services help you manage your money in different currencies and time zones, whenever it suits you.*

Your unique membership number and pass code gives you a secure way of carrying out much of your day-to-day banking when you need to.

International Telephone Banking can also be used to manage your international personal banking, with these two services we offer you the ability to:

• Check your account balances and latest transactions
• Transfer money between accounts
• Make international and UK payments online up to £20,000 (or currency equivalent)
• Save up to £15 when making international payments
• Set-up or amend regular payments (standing orders)
• Apply for additional accounts

• Choose from a range of major currencies
• No minimum transfer amount (maximum £20,000 for online transactions)
• Attractive tariffs start from £25 for online instructions

Relationship managed clients can arrange to set up email requests to their Relationship Manager for international payments. Choose from a Same Day (express) or Standard payment service.

International personal relationship banking

At the heart of our service is your dedicated Relationship Manager who will take the time to get to know you, understand your short and long-term goals and help you achieve your financial aspirations. Available by telephone, email and where permitting face-to-face^** your Relationship Manager has the authority to make things happen quickly on your behalf and is your access point to the wider Barclays Group. Your Relationship Manager will be pro-active, engaged and dynamic, providing you with the advice and connections you want. However, as we treat everyone as an individual, contact with your Relationship Manager is as hands on or off as you wish.

To qualify for this free service you need:

• to hold a balance of £50,000 or more (or currency equivalent in cash or investments) with us
• or, for those who work in or are moving to the UK, an annual individual gross income of £100,000 or more (or currency equivalent) paid into a Barclays Wealth International account.
